About Webperf Cloud

Webperf is a small, independent company based in Fengersfors, Sweden. We build tools that help organisations understand and improve their websites. The focus is on speed, accessibility, SEO, privacy, and best practice.

What we believe

  1. People come first! Your website exists for the people who visit it, whether they are customers, citizens or readers. Every feature we build starts with the question Does this help make someone's experience of the web a little better?
  2. Openness builds trust! Our evaluation engine is open source. We think you should be able to see how your site is being tested, understand every score, and suggest improvements. For us, transparency is a design principle rather than a marketing claim.
  3. Your data is yours! We host in Sweden, under EU jurisdiction. We don't sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it for purposes you didn't agree to. That is what digital sovereignty means to us in practice.
  4. Simple beats clever! You shouldn't need a specialist to decode our tooling. We aim for a clear score and plain-language explanations of what was measured and how. What it means for your organisation is another matter, and not ours to claim: that judgement belongs to the people who know the business, the site and the visitors. We supply evidence. The insight is yours.
  5. A tool is a starting point! Automated testing is good at the repeatable part, and it helps novices and professionals alike: a basic overview, a benchmark, and regressions caught early. It is not a substitute for professional services or expert advice when the matter is complicated, and we won't pretend otherwise to make a sale. The specialists we know use tools like this themselves, as the first pass that clears the obvious problems — that is exactly what we are good for, and it is good company to keep.

The open source connection

Webperf's roots are in the Swedish open source community. The evaluation engine behind Webperf is publicly available on GitHub, and the broader Webperf.se initiative has been evaluating Swedish websites openly for almost a decade.

We believe open source is a natural fit for tools that audit and evaluate. Trust requires transparency.
